  IMEDIASEE

imediasee provides the software and services to enable innovative on-demand television services like Lasoo. Great care has been taken at every step to ensure that on-demand television services delivered using the imediasee technology framework are robust, secure, scalable and flexible enough to meet and exceed the needs and expectations of a new generation of television service providers.

imediasee provides:

  • VOD Service implementation – Turnkey design and implementation of on-demand television services like Lasoo. The imediasee system is ideal for service providers in other countries who want to affordably launch their own on-demand television service.
  • VOD Channel Design – User Interface design and implementation to take full advantage of the capabilities available on Lasoo and other services using the imediasee system.
  • Content Preparation – imediasee is able to accept content in digi beta or most other high-quality formats, along with meta-data and digital promotional assets. imediasee will encode content in either wide-screen or full-screen aspect ratios, with high quality 5.1 or stereo sound, encrypt it using industry standard DRM technology, and ingest into our state-of-the-art content management and content distribution system with a rapid turn-around time to facilitate flexibility in air-dates.
  • Content Distribution – imediasee’s innovative content distribution network provides flexible, robust, secure and affordable media server and distribution capabilities for high quality video content.
  • Content Management – Using imediasee’s content management system, digital assets and metadata can be securely managed, providing control over air-dates, prices, promotions ratings and any limitations on age, territory or other characteristics of the target audience.
  • imediasee Library Manager – The imediasee Library Manager is installed in the viewers premises on a generic Windows XP machine or built-for-purpose consumer electronics device. As a media receiver, it receives secured content from the content distribution network, and maintains it within its secure and closed storage architecture until requested by a viewer via an authenticated imediasee Player, which may reside on the same machine or one connected via the viewer’s local area network.
  • imediasee Player – The imediasee Player securely receives encrypted content from the imediasee Library Manager and decrypts it for plaback onto the viewers television, LCD or other display device using non-transferable DRM keys. As a media renderer displays the TV user interface, it interacts with the viewer using a remote control, and enables trick-modes and other advanced features. The imediasee Player can run on a properly equipped Windows XP machine or STB.
